Honda unveils the all-new 26YM CB1000F — a retro-performance roadster inspired by the iconic CB750F/CB900F and built for riders who want classic charm with modern capability. Based on the CB1000 Hornet platform but developed as its own model, it blends heritage styling with upgraded engineering, advanced electronics, and real-world road manners.

Engine & Performance:
The CB1000F is powered by a revised 1000cc DOHC inline-four tuned for stronger low- and midrange torque. Updated cam timing, a redesigned intake system, and longer funnels sharpen throttle response. It produces 91 kW at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm at 8,000 rpm, complemented by a 4-2-1 megaphone exhaust for a richer, more charismatic note. Optimised gear ratios balance lively acceleration with relaxed cruising, while a 5.6L/100 km efficiency and 16L tank offer an estimated 280 km range.
Chassis & Suspension:
A diamond-style steel frame with a new extended subframe enhances stability. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable 41mm Showa SFF-BP forks and a CB1000F-specific Showa Pro-Link rear shock. Braking is managed by radial-mount four-piston calipers with 310mm floating discs, supported by Cornering ABS via a six-axis IMU. Lightweight 5Y-spoke wheels with 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 tyres provide agile, confidence-inspiring handling.
Electronics & Rider Aids:
A six-axis IMU supports Cornering ABS, Wheelie Control, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Riding modes include Standard, Sport, Rain, and two User modes. A 5-inch TFT with Honda RoadSync enables navigation, calls, and media, while Honda Smart Key and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) add convenience and safety.
Styling & Design:
A neo-retro look is defined by a round LED headlamp, twin horns, chromed downpipes, sculpted tank, exposed frame, and CB-inspired stripes. Colours include Wolf Silver Metallic (Blue or Grey stripes) and Graphite Black.
