The CFMOTO V4 SR-RR sits at the top of the company’s SR performance family and represents its entry into the litre-class superbike category.

According to CFMOTO, the motorcycle used for the attempt was a pre-production prototype, rather than a dedicated racing motorcycle or a machine specially modified solely for a speed-record attempt.

The test was overseen by the National Motorcycle Quality Inspection and Testing Center, while the result was recorded for verification by the Hangzhou National Notary Public Office.

The 315.82km/h figure is therefore best understood as a manufacturer-reported test result achieved during the V4 SR-RR’s development.

It should not automatically be interpreted as the final production motorcycle’s certified top speed.

Nevertheless, exceeding 300km/h with a pre-production prototype demonstrates the performance potential of CFMOTO’s V4 powertrain and aerodynamic package.
